Having obtained a Medical Degree from the University of Zimbabwe in March 2011, Dr Charlene Chideme went on to work as a hospital doctor as well as General Practitioner in Zimbabwe for 7 years before making the move to Australia to pursue a new adventure.
Dr Charlene was previously based at Healthlink Family Medical Centre, in Cranbrook , Townsville North Queensland for nearly 5 years before recently moving down to Brisbane. She has a passion for mental, child and women’s health and also loves mentoring medical students- finding often she learns from them.
Her ultimate desire is to see patients live maximised lives, and provide them with ongoing support through every season their journeys may take them. She believes there is no other specialty quite as beautiful and intimate as General Practice.
Dr Charlene is both privileged and humbled to be Fellowed in General Practice. In her spare time, she enjoys chasing after her 2 boys, swimming, getting lost in a good novel and cooking.
