Dr Irmeen Khan is a Paediatrician who brings more than 20 years of experience in looking after children and adolescents to Health Hub Doctors Morayfield. She believes in an integrated and holistic approach to patient care. She enjoys building partnerships with children and families based on clear communication and mutual trust for helping them in their journey through life. She considers it a privilege to work with children and families to help them in achieving their potential.
Dr Khan holds the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, FRACP (Paediatrics), Membership of the Royal college of Paediatrics and Child Health, United Kingdom – MRCPCH (U.K.), Diploma in Child Health and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). She has worked across many major hospitals like Mater Hospital, Queensland Children’s Hospital (previously Lady Cilento Hospital), Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Caboolture Hospital, Cairns Base hospital and Logan hospital to name a few.
Dr Khan is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and is actively involved in teaching medical students and paediatrics trainees.
Further to her interest in neurobehavioral Paediatrics, she is a member of the Neurobehavioral Paediatric Society of Australia which is an Australia-wide group of paediatricians specializing in Developmental Paediatrics.
