Dr Khaled Bhuiyan

Dr Khaled Bhuiyan is a clinical cardiologist with special interest in heart failure, cardiomyopathies, ischaemic heart disease and strain echocardiography.

Khaled Bhuiyan completed his postgraduate training in internal medicine at The Princess Alexandra Hospital and adult cardiology advanced training at The Prince Charles Hospital in Queensland. He is continuing research, MPhil under the University of Queensland supported by The Prince Charles Hospital on “Myocardial Infarction”. He is also furthering his research with a focus on “Cardiogenic Shock” with the “Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplantation “unit at The Prince Charles Hospital.

Khaled Bhuiyan maintains an active academic career. He is an Associate Lecturer at The University of Queensland and is an Associate member of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.

Khaled Bhuiyan is available for consultation in all aspects of clinical cardiology, including peri-operative assessment and management of cardiac risk factors and conditions.

Dr Khaled is consulting with us weekly on Tuesdays.
