Grace trained initially as an Enrolled Nurse from 1985 till 1987 and then graduated as a registered nurse in 1993 in Northern Ireland. She made the big trip to Australia in 2002 where her work evolved in ICU. Grace has worked at an advanced level of practise specialising in the deteriorating patient’s on the wards facilitating these patients in the acute phase or as a bridge to ICU. She uses evidence based research to guide her project work. She is also a educational resource for nurses and doctors in the role out of nursing competencies and Advanced Life Support .
Grace has been employed with the Hub since December 2019 and enjoys the wide variety the practice brings, allowing her to care for patients at all stages of life. She is passionate about urgent care, ensuring patient flow and wait times are reduced. Her goal is to provide good patient outcomes and reduce the need for hospitalisation within the community. Grace is an affiliated member of APHRA and the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners
